Summary: Maybe the most important invitation Harry ever gets.

Severus and Harry were seated at the table, watching Lily step and twirl with her new husband. They both shared a look of pride and love for their daughter. As the song ended she approached them.

“You know it is custom for me to dance with my papa.” She holds her hand for Harry to take.

“Severus is a much better dancer than me. Why don’t you invite him first?”

“Don’t be silly. I’ve seen you practicing in secret. I want to dance with you.”

Severus also made a shooing motion to get Harry to take the floor, smiling gently.

Your take on this surprised me as if it were me, I'd insist on dancing with both of my fathers at the same time. (Not that that's easily done and I expect I'd be like Tonks and trip!))

Yeah. All three dancing together would be funny. I figured she'd dance with each of them, to save herself from tripping.

and I hope it's a good surprised! I always try to do a little bit different takes on the promts from the ordinary.

Yes, it was a good surprised. And I like the thought of Harry taking dancing lessons in order to dance with his daughter. And of her fathers dancing together at her wedding. :-)

Oh, This is adorable! There is something really satisfying in watching the boys so far into the future and finding them still together, still happy. The proud parents of a beautiful bride who values each of them and the effort they make to make on her behalf, no matter how secretly, as much as they deserve.

*curtsies* Thank you my dear. It took me a couple days to think of what angle I wanted to go with this one. Sometimes it's so vague a prompt that too many ideas appear.
But who could pass up this heartfelt invitation! And then afterwards Severus will dance with her - Finally Harry and Severus will dance together, remembering their little girl growing up and the love they have for each other. Smile worthy!
