I never believed that as I watched you turn from boy into man you would ever turn your affections in my direction. It was not meant to be. For so long I had been a social pariah. I accepted that, encouraged it even. But as you persisted in your endeavor to capture my heart, you wore me down. At every turn I thought it would be the last I would see of you, except perhaps on the cover the Daily Prophet. I actually started it as sort of a journal entry - but midway it morphed into wedding vows.
Maybe I'll do a companion that are Harry's vows. :)
