“I am sick and tired of fighting with you Snape. The war is over, we don’t have to be at each other’s throats any more. Why can’t you get that through your thick skull?”

Severus huffed, but didn’t reply.

“Why can’t we just put our differences behind us and start again. I really am interested in getting to know you. Can’t you tell?” Harry’s ire was palpable.

“A fresh start?”

“Yeah. Like we’re meeting for the first time.” Harry stood and walked over to the older man, hand out. “Hello, I am Harry Potter.”

They shook hands gingerly, “Severus Snape.”
